Tyson Fury to Return to Boxing in 2026, Targets Trilogy Bout with Oleksandr Usyk
Turki Alalshikh has confirmed that Tyson Fury has given a verbal agreement to make his comeback to boxing, with a possible return scheduled for 2026 during the Riyadh Season. Alalshikh made the announcement via a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating:
“The ‘Gypsy King’ will be back!!! I talked with him, and I have his word to have him in Riyadh Season in 2026 … We have a rabbit to hunt!”
(The reference to “rabbit” is a nod to Oleksandr Usyk, whom Fury often calls by this nickname.)
Fury had temporarily retired in early 2025 following his loss to Usyk but now appears ready to return for a third fight, aiming for a “fair result” in England. He also did not rule out a possible bout with Anthony Joshua.
Reports suggest a potential date of April 18, 2026, at Wembley Stadium, although this has not been officially confirmed yet.
